Abstract

Lokacija trgovačkih centara je proučavana s geografskog i operativnog stajališta. U radu su identificirani ključni čimbenici koji utječu na odabir lokacije trgovačkih centara u Hrvatskoj. Izbor lokacije trgovačkog centra opisana je sa stajališta prometne povezanosti, kapaciteta i preferencija kupca koristeći znanstvenu literaturu i analize koje su uspoređene sa stvarnim stanjem u Hrvatskoj. Nakon provedene analize 32 trgovačka centra u Hrvatskoj ustanovljeno je da je većina centara u protekloj godini poslovalo s gubitkom te su Zagreb i Primorsko-goranska županija identificirani kao najbolje makro lokacije za odabir lokacije trgovačkih centara u Hrvatskoj.

Abstract (english)

Shopping center’s location has been investigated from a geographical and operational point of view. The main attributes determining location of shopping center selection in Croatia are identified in this thesis. Shopping center’s location selection is described from the aspect of traffic connections, capacity and customer’s preferences using scientific literature and analysis compared to the real situation in Croatia. After analyzing 32 shopping centers in Croatia it is established that the majority of shopping centers recorded a loss in the past year and Zagreb and Primorsko-goranska region are identified as the best macro locations for choosing a location of shopping centers in Croatia.
