Abstract

Pojava automobila i automobilske industrije imala je velik utjecaj na svjetsko gospodarstvo, društvo i okoliš. Stvorena su nova radna mjesta, povećao se bruto domaći proizvod zemalja s razvijenom industrijom, ali sve to na štetu okoliša. Problem zaštite okoliša u industriji koja profitira iskorištavanjem obnovljivih i neobnovljivih resursa koje okoliš pruža, rješava se cjelovitim planiranjem, tj. integracijom koncepta održivog razvoja u proces razvoja automobila i njihovog korištenja. Rad analizira stupanj integracije održivog razvoja u automobilskoj industriji. Analizira se utjecaj autoindustrije na povećanje bruto domaćeg proizvoda, utjecaj proizvodnje na zaposlenost, uvjeti rada, spolna ravnopravnost u industriji i utjecaj proizvodnje, prodaje i korištenja automobila na okoliš. Kroz rad je objašnjen način na koji se u automobilskoj industriji pokušava postići održivost, konstantnim poboljšanjem tehnologije, odnosa prema zaposlenicima i društvu kao cjelini te pronalaskom novih načina upotrebe resursa. Naglasak se stavlja na trenutno stanje industrije, trendove razvoja i buduće tehnologije jer se njihovom analizom može poboljšati buduće stanje i osigurati razvoj koji zadovoljava potrebe ljudi bez negativnih posljedica za buduće naraštaje.

Abstract (english)

The emergence of the automobile and automotive industry has had a major impact on the world economy, society, and the environment. New jobs have been created, the gross domestic product of countries with developed industry has increased, but all at the expense of the environment. The problem of environmental protection in the industry that benefits from the use of renewable and non-renewable resources provided by the environment is solved by holistic planning, i.e. by integrating the concept of sustainable development into the process of car development and their use. The paper analyzes the degree of integration of sustainable development in the automotive industry. It analyzes the impact of the automotive industry on the increase in gross domestic product, the impact of production on employment, working conditions, gender equality in the industry, and the impact of production, sales, and use of cars on the environment. The paper explains the way in which the automotive industry tries to achieve sustainability, by constantly improving technology, attitudes towards employees and society as a whole, and by finding new ways to use resources. Emphasis is placed on the current state of the industry, development trends and future technology because their analysis can improve the future state and ensure development that meets the needs of people without negative consequences for future generations.
