Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je analizirati mogućnosti razvoja gastronomskog turizma u svijetu te posebnu pažnju pridati razvoju gastronomskog turizma u Hrvatskoj. Gastronomija je sastavni dio svakog turističkog putovanja, no sve je veći broj ljudi koji upravo zbog gastronomije posjećuju određenu turističku destinaciju. U Hrvatskoj je također uočen trend rasta gastronomije kao motiva za dolazak u destinaciju, prema Tomas istraživanju „Stavovi i potrošnja turista u Hrvatskoj“ Instituta za turizam iz Zagreba udio gostiju motiviranih gastronomijom povećan je s 26% u 2014. godini na 29% u 2017. godini isto tako, zastupljeno je sve više restorana s Michelinovom zvjezdicom. Stoga se sve veća pozornost pridaje ovom specifičnom obliku turizma.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper is to analyze the possibilities for the development of gastronomy tourism in the world and to pay special attention to the development of gastronomy tourism in Croatia. Gastronomy is an integral part of every travel, but there is an increasing number of people which are visiting a certain tourism destination precisely because of gastronomy. In Croatia, there is also a growing trend of gastronomy being a motive for coming to the destination, according to Tomas Survey "Attitudes and expenditures of tourists in Croatia" of the Institute for Tourism in Zagreb the share of guests motivated by gastronomy increased from 26% in 2014. to 29% in 2017. also, there are more and more Michelin-starred restaurants. Therefore, more and more attention is paid to this special interest tourism.
