Abstract

Uslijed sve veće konkurencije radne snage na tržištu rada unutar IT sektora, poslodavcima se nameće veliki izazov privlačenja i zadržavanja adekvatnih zaposlenika. U zadnje vrijeme, sve veću ulogu u razvoju atraktivnosti poslodavca ima i dizajn posla. U diplomskom radu obuhvaćene su teorijske osnove koje se odnose na atraktivnost i marku poslodavca unutar tehnološkog sektora te teorijski konstrukt dizajna posla kao jednog od elementa upravljanja ljudskim potencijalima. U kreiranom anketnom istraživanju sudjelovalo je 99 zaposlenika unutar IT sektora iz tri poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako zaposlenici vrjednuju dizajn posla kao važan faktor za razvoj atraktivnosti poslodavca, odnosno, procijenili su karakteristike zadatka, kognitivne i socijalne karakteristike posla bitnima za radnike znanja. Također, utvrđeno je kako ne postoji statistički značajna razlika prilikom procjene dimenzija dizajna posla između računalnih programera i marketinških stručnjaka kao dvije najveće skupine ispitanika. Prema tome, pokazalo se kako dizajn posla može biti dobar alat za povećanje zadovoljstva postojećih, ali i privlačenje novih zaposlenika.

Abstract (english)

Due to the increasing competition of the labor force in the labor market within the IT sector, employers are faced with a great challenge of attracting and retaining adequate employees. Recently, job design has played an increasing role in the development of employer attractiveness. Thesis includes the theoretical foundations related to the attractiveness and employer branding within the technology sector and the theoretical construct of job design as one of the elements of human resources management. 99 employees from the IT sector from three companies in the Republic of Croatia participated in the created survey. The research showed that employees value job design as an important factor for the development of employer attractiveness. In other words, they assessed the task characteristics, cognitive and social characteristics of the job important for knowledge workers. Also, it was found that there is no statistically significant difference when estimating the dimensions of job design between computer programers and marketing experts as the two largest groups of respondents. Therefore, it has been shown that job design can be a good tool for increasing the satisfaction of existing employees and attracting new ones.
