Rad se sastoji od pet poglavlja koja se sastoje od uvoda, glavnog dijela te zaključka. Cilj ovog rada je pobliže pojasniti i predstaviti investicijske fondove u Hrvatskoj na način da se razumije njihova svrha, da se prepozna važnost investicijskih fondova, kao i kome su namijenjeni. Na samome početku rada pobliže je definirano tržište kapitala koje predstavlja ključan segment tržišta vrijednosnih papira općenito pa tako i investicijskih fondova. Navedeni su financijski instrumenti koji se najčešće pojavljuju na tržištu kapitala kao i njegovi sudionici, a nakon toga je definirano i tržište kapitala u Hrvatskog. U kasnijoj razradi, u poglavlju 3., pojašnjen je pojam investicijskih fondova te smo upoznati sa povijesti investicijskih fondova i njihovim razvojem u svijetu, nakon čega dolazimo do podijele investicijskih fondova odnosno vrsta investicijskih fondova u svijetu ali i u Hrvatskoj. Svaka vrsta je naknadno obrazložena kako bi pobliže razumjeli u koje tipove vrijednosnih papira ulažu te kome je pojedina vrsta investicijskog fonda namijenjena. U četvrtom poglavlju ovog rada govori se investicijskim fondovima u Hrvatskoj. Na početku smo upoznati sa „Zakonom o investicijskim fondovima u RH“, navedena su društva koja se bave upravljanjem investicijskih fondova, a kasnije je sagledana struktura ulaganja pojedinih vrsta investicijskih fondova u Hrvatskoj. Posljednje poglavlje ovog rada usmjereno je na četiri investicijska fonda koja su ove godine nagrađena kao najbolji otvoreni investicijski fondovi u Hrvatskoj te jedno, također nagrađeno, društvo za upravljanje investicijskim fondovima, pri čemu su fondovi pojedinacno dalje razrađeni te je prikazana struktura ulaganja i kretanje prinosa za svaki.
Abstract (english) The topic of this final paper is Investment funds in Croatia. The paper is written in five chapters consisting of an introduction, a main part and a conclusion. The aim of this final paper is to describe and introduce investment funds in Croatia in a way that explains their purpose, to recognize the importance of investment funds, as well as answer the question for whom they are intended. At the very beginning, the capital market was defined, which represents a key segment of the securities market in general, including investment funds. The financial instruments that most often appear on the capital market as well as its participants are listed, and after that the capital market in Croatia is defined. In a later elaboration, in Chapter 3, the concept of investment funds is clarified and we are introduced to the history of investment funds and their development in the world, after which we come to the division of investment funds and types of investment funds in the world and in Croatia. Each type is subsequently explained in order to understand better which types of securities they invest in and for whom each type of investment fund is intended. The fourth chapter of this paper discusses investment funds in Croatia. At the beginning, we were introduced to the "Law on Investment Funds in the Republic of Croatia", companies dealing with the management of investment funds are listed, and later the structure of investments of certain types of investment funds in Croatia was considered. The last chapter of this paper focuses on four investment funds that were awarded this year as the best open-end investment funds in Croatia and one, also awarded, investment fund management company, where the funds are further elaborated individually and shows the investment structure and yield trends for each.
