Abstract
In recent years, new problems arose in the Croatian healthcare system. The most prominent being the emigration of doctors as a result of work dissatisfaction, poor organization etc. This study investigated the satisfaction of medical doctors in hospitals and correlates the results with the burnout effect. The impact of burnout in Croatian doctors is still not at its utmost strength but the consequences have already started to take a toll. Doctors were asked to complete a survey examining factors that influence their job satisfaction.
