Abstract

U doba sveprisutne globalizacije u kojem je međunarodna razmjena uobičajena aktivnost, sudionicima je cilj pojačati konkurentnost, širiti se na nova tržišta te u konačnici povećati saldo platne bilance. Navedeno se očituje u sastavnicama bruto domaćeg proizvoda, investicijama i izvozu, koje su kao takve svojevrsno mjerilo razvitka i bogatstva neke zemlje. U ovome radu analiziran je njihov pojedinačni značaj, kao i njihova međuovisnost. Investicije, osim kapitala, u poduzeće donose i otvaranje novih radnih mjesta, nova tehnološka znanja, porast proizvodnje, a time i povećane mogućnosti za izlaske na nova tržišta, ili, povećanje udjela na postojećim tržištima. S druge strane, poduzećima je cilj biti što više izvozno orijentiranima, što zbog zauzimanja većeg tržišnog kolača, što zbog povećanja priljeva sredstava. Kako bi poduzeća uistinu iskoristila prednosti što većeg stupnja izvozne orijentacije, trebaju postići nadprosječnu proizvodnost, koju često ostvaruju investicijama. Tako je naglasak ove analize na korelaciji godišnje promjene dugotrajne imovine i promjene veličine izvoza. Analiza je provedena na temelju financijskih podataka najvećih hrvatskih izvoznih poduzeća.

Abstract (english)

In an age of ubiquitous globalization in which international exchange is a common activity, the goal of participants is to strengthen competitiveness, expand into new markets and ultimately increase the balance of payments. This is reflected in the components of gross domestic product, investment and exports, which as such are a kind of measure of development and wealth of a country. In this paper, their individual significance as well as their interdependence are analyzed. In addition to capital, investments in the company also bring new jobs, new technological knowledge, increased production, time and increase opportunities to enter new markets or increase share in existing markets. On the other hand, the goal of companies is to be as export-oriented as possible, either because of the takeover of a larger market cake, or because of the increase in the inflow of funds. In order for a company to truly take advantage of the greatest possible degree of export orientation, they need to achieve above-average productivity, which they often achieve through investment. Thus, this analysis of the correlation between the annual change in fixed assets and the change in the size of exports is emphasized. The analysis is presented on the basis of financial data of the largest Croatian export companies.
