Abstract

Održivost u poslovanju poduzeća, kao i brojnih drugih organizacija, postavlja pred menadžment vrlo kompleksan zadatak. Važno je razumjeti sam pojam održivosti i održivog razvoja kako bi pristup u rješavanju problema bio ispravan. Ovaj rad nudi osvrt na pojmove održivosti i održivog razvoja te BSC modela kao mogućeg alata za usklađivanje ciljeva poslovanja i ciljeva održivog razvoja. Kroz rad su detaljno prikazane ključne značajke održivog razvoja, funkcioniranje BSC modela i mogućnosti primjene BSC modela za implementaciju načela održivog razvoja. Naglasak je na važnosti korištenja ispravnih mjera kako bi se mogao pratiti napredak u ostvarenju ciljeva i reagirati na promjene u okruženju u odgovarajućem roku.

Abstract (english)

Sustainability in the business activities of companies, as well as many other organizations, poses a very complex task for management. It is important to understand the very concept of sustainability and sustainable development in order for the problem-solving approach to be correct. This paper offers an overview of the concepts of sustainability and sustainable development and the BSC model as a possible tool for harmonizing business objectives and sustainable development goals. The paper presents in detail the key features of sustainable development, the functioning of the BSC model, and the possibilities of applying the BSC model for the implementation of the principles of sustainable development. Emphasis is placed on the importance of using the right measures to monitor progress towards the goals and respond to changes in the environment in an appropriate timeframe.
