Abstract

Temeljem studije slučaja, cilj rada je ustanoviti doprinos održivom razvoju
poljoprivrede i srodnih djelatnosti kroz ocjenu tehničke i tehnološke te financijske i
ekonomske izvedivosti investicije u izgradnju elektrane na biomasu. Projektom se želi razviti
kombinirana toplana i elektrana koristeći drvenu sječku i poljoprivrednu bimasu kao gorivo za
isporuku električne energije u lokalnu mrežu i za proizvodnju toplinske energije za
distribuciju topline u pogon za sušenje drva. Tehnologija je na bazi kotla i parne turbine.
Projekt uključuje nabavu, ugradnju, puštanje u pogon i ispitivanje generatora pare na
biomasu, kondenzacijske parne turbine, sustava za filtriranje dimnih plinova, sustav rukovanja
i skladištenja biomase, bilancu postrojenja i stanica daljinskog grijanja u kompletu sa svim
radovima, zalihama i potrebnom infrastrukturom.
Ključni segmenti analize u okviru studije slučaja, odnosno projekta su: analiza tržišta,
procjena tehničkih i tehnoloških karakteristika projekta i financijska analiza. Na osnovni
rezultata te analize, ustanovljena su ograničenja i prednosti korištenja biomase u radu
elektrane, s posebnim osvrtom na prednosti korištenja sirovina iz poljoprivrede u odnosu na
drvnu sirovinu.

Abstract (english)

Based on the case study, the aim of the paper is to establish the contribution to the
sustainable development of agriculture and related activities through the assessment of
technical and technological, financial and economic feasibility of investment in the
construction of biomass power plants. The project aims to develop a combined heat and
power plant using wood chips and agricultural biomass as fuel to supply electricity to the
local grid and to produce heat to distribute it to the wood drying plant. The technology is
based on a boiler and a steam turbine. The project includes procurement, installation,
commissioning and testing of biomass steam generators, condensing steam turbines, flue gas
filtration systems, biomass handling and storage system, balance of plants and district heating
stations complete with all works, supplies and necessary infrastructure.
The key segments of the analysis within the case study, ie the project are: market
analysis, assessment of technical and technological characteristics of the project and financial
analysis. Based on the basic results of this analysis, the limitations and advantages of using
biomass in the operation of the power plant were established, with special reference to the
advantages of using raw materials from agriculture in relation to wood raw materials.
