Abstract

Nacionalna kultura utječe ne samo na ponašanje pojedinaca već i na cjelokupno poslovanje poduzeća te pravni i ekonomski sustav pojedine države. Cilj svakog poduzetnika pri pokretanju poduzetničkog pothvata odnosi se na ostvarivanje što je moguće boljih rezultata koji se direktno odražavaju na gospodarski rast i razvoj određene države. S obzirom da se poduzetništvo smatra temeljnim nositeljem poslovne aktivnosti, važno je prepoznati koji sve čimbenici mogu utjecati na njega i na koji način. Kao jedan od takvih čimbenika ističe se nacionalna kultura. Uzimajući u obzir utjecaj sveprisutne globalizacije i promjene na tržištima nužno je razumjeti na koji način nacionalna kultura ima utjecaj na poduzetništvo, prepoznati taj utjecaj i pokušati istaknuti one dimenzije kulture koje pridonose ostvarivanju pozitivnih rezultata u poduzetništvu. Kako bi se izmjerio utjecaj nacionalne kulture na poduzetništvo, provodi se mjerenje nacionalne kulture putem postojećih modela mjerenja nacionalne kulture, te mjerenje poduzetništva kroz ostvarene TEA pokazatelje i GDP po stanovniku određene države. Sukladno tome, cilj ovog diplomskog rada odnosi se na definiranje pojma nacionalne kulture i pojma poduzetništva u okvirima granica Europske unije, analizu postojećih istraživanja na temu povezanosti nacionalne kulture i poduzetništva u Europskoj uniji, te u konačnici samostalno mjerenje i istraživanje povezanosti ovih dviju varijabli.

Abstract (english)

National culture doesn't affect only an individuals behaviour, but also has an affect on companies overall business as well as on legal and economic system of every individual country. Starting the entrepreneurial venture, every entrepreneur's goal pertains to achieving as best results as possible which have a direct reflection on economic growth and development of a certain country. Considering that entrepreneurship is being considered a fundamental bearer of an business activity, it is important to know which factors can have an impact on it and in what way. One of those factors to stand out is the national culture. Considering the influence of an ubiquitous globalization and the market changes, it is necessary to understand in what way does a national culture has an impact on the entrepreneurship, recognize the influence and try to point out those cultural dimensions that contribute to the achievement of positive results in the entrepreneurship. To measure the influence of a national culture on the entrepreneurship, measure of a national culture is being implemented through existing models of the national culture's measurement, as well as the measurement of the entrepreneurship through realized TEA indicators and GDP per capita of a certain country. In accordance with that, the goal of this graduate thesis refers to defining the term of a national culture and the term of an entrepreneurship in terms of European Union, analysis of the existing researchs on the subject of the relationship between the national culture and the entrepreneurship in the European Union, and ultimately measuring and researching the relationship between these two variables on its own.
