Abstract

Turistički resursi su temeljni čimbenici koji doprinose turističkoj ponudi grada, županije te cjelokupnom turizmu države. Oni su ujedno i glavni motivatori koji potiču i pokreću turiste na putovanje. Da bi bili prepoznatljivi potrebno je da budu atraktivni i zamijećeni u oku promatrača. Prirodni turistički resursi grada Velike Gorice prepoznatljivi su po slikovitim pejzažima Vukomeričkih gorica, mirnim tokovima rijeka Save, Odre i Kupe, te po bogatstvu stoljetne hrastove šume Turopoljskog luga. Društveni resursi Grada naglašeni su u bogatoj kulturno-povijesnoj baštini prepoznatljivoj po drvenom graditeljstvu stambenih objekata čardaka, kurija, sakralnih objekata, te dugogodišnjih prepoznatljivih manifestacija Turopolja (Turopoljski fašnik, Jurjevo, turopoljska svadba). Tradiciju običaja, pjesama i plesova velikogoričkog kraja njeguju kulturno umjetnička društva (FA Turopolje i ostali), te promiču grad Veliku Goricu diljem Europe i svijeta na raznim kulturno-umjetničkim smotrama. U radu se naglasila važnost prepoznatljivosti turističkih resursa i potencijala kojeg je potrebno prepoznati, valorizirati i znati njime upravljati.
Grad Velika Gorica prepoznata je kao lider među gradovima Zagrebačke županije po svojim dolascima i noćenjima stranih i domaćih turista, što je naglašeno fizičkim pokazateljima turizma Grada. Blizina zračne luke Franjo Tuđman i grada Zagreba, te obnova prometne infrastrukture, uveliko je pridonijela razvoju turizmu Grada i Zagrebačke županije. No, turistička valorizacija prirodnih i društvenih resursa Velike Gorice zahtjeva, još dodatno obogaćivanje sadržaja ponude i njene promocije kako bi se zadovoljilo i zadržalo turiste dulje od jednoga dana. Potrebno je i podizanje svijesti stanovništva i lokalne vlasti o potrebi važnosti bavljenja turizmom.

Abstract (english)

Tourist resources are the basic factors that contribute to the tourist offer of the city, the county and the overall tourism of the country. They are also the main motivators that encourage and motivate tourists to travel. In order to be recognizable, they need to be attractive and noticed in the eye of the beholder. The natural tourist resources of the town of Velika Gorica are recognizable by the picturesque landscapes of Vukomeričke gorice, the calm flows of the rivers Sava, Odra and Kupa, and the richness of the centuries-old oak forest of Turopoljski lug. The social resources of the City are emphasized in the rich cultural and historical heritage recognizable by the wooden construction of residential buildings, sacral buildings, and long-standing recognizable manifestations of Turopolje (Turopolje Carnival, Jurjevo, Turopolje wedding). The tradition of customs, songs and dances of the Velika Gorica region is nurtured by cultural and artistic societies (FA Turopolje and others), and they promote the city of Velika Gorica throughout Europe and the world at various cultural and artistic festivals. The paper emphasized the importance of recognizing tourist resources and the potential that needs to be recognized, valorized and managed. The City of Velika Gorica is recognized as a leader among the cities of Zagreb County in terms of its arrivals and overnight stays of foreign and domestic tourists, which is emphasized by the physical indicators of the City's tourism. The proximity of the Franjo Tuđman Airport and the City of Zagreb, as well as the renovation of the transport infrastructure, has greatly contributed to the development of tourism in the City and Zagreb County. However, the tourist valorization of the natural and social resources of Velika Gorica requires further enrichment of the content of the offer and its promotion in order to satisfy and keep tourists for more than one day. It is also necessary to raise awareness of the population and local authorities about the need for the importance of tourism.
