Abstract

Financiranje poduzetničkog pothvata je osnova za stvaranje uspješnog poduzeća. Postoje razne mogućnost financiranja, koje ovise o sklonostima poduzetnika i mogućnostima biranja izvora financiranja s obzirom na vrstu djelatnosti i veličinu poduzeća. Danas su sve popularniji alternativni i neformalni izvori financiranja, naročito za mala i srednja poduzeća koja nemaju pristup tržištu kapitala i tradicionalnim izvorima financijskih sredstava. Za takva poduzeća postoji opcija financiranja putem fondova rizičnog kapitala i poslovnih anđela. Fondovi rizičnog kapitala prikupljaju sredstva institucionalnih investitora, te kupuju udjele u privatnim poduzećima koja ne sudjeluju na tržištu kapitala. Oni su opcija za poduzeća koja su već razvijena i ostvaruju profit. Poslovni anđeli su nekadašnji poduzetnici ili bogati pojedinci koji ulažu vlastita financijska sredstva u tek osnovana poduzeća koja još ne ostvaruju prihode. Njihova najveća vrijednost je pružanje znanja, vještina, iskustva i poslovnih kontakata koje su stekli u vlastitom poslovanju. Zauzvrat očekuju udio u poduzeću, a investicijski dobitak ostvaruju prodajom udjela. U Europi su sve popularniji ovakvi načini financiranja. Broj poduzeća i financijska sredstva koje investiraju u poduzetničke pothvate sve su veći iz godine u godinu.

Abstract (english)

Financing an entrepreneurial venture is the basis for creating a successful business. There are many financing options, which depend on the preferences of entrepreneurs and the ability to choose the source of funding considering the type of activity and the size of the company. Today, alternative and informal sources of financing are becoming increasingly popular, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises that don't have access to the capital market and traditional sources of funding. For such a company, there is an option of financing through private equity funds and business angels. Private equity funds raise funds from institutional investors, and buy shares in private companies that don't participate in the capital market. They are an option for companies that are already developed and making a profit. Business angels are former entrepreneurs or wealthy individuals who invest their own financial resources in start-ups that aren't yet generating revenue. Their greatest value is providing the knowledge, skills, experience and business contacts they have gained in their own business. In return, they expect a share in the company, and make a investment gain by selling the share. Such methods of financing are becoming increasingly popular in Europe. The number of companies and the financial resources that they invest in entrepreneurial ventures are increasing year by year.
