Abstract

Od pojave interneta do danas svjedočili smo brojim promjenama koje prouzrokuje tehnologija. Možemo uistinu reći da su se tehnološki trendovi znatno reflektirali na nas i ako se osvrnemo koju godinu unatrag vidimo koliko je izmjena bilo kakvoga procesa uvelike, ali pozitivno utjecala. Blockchain predstavlja jedan od najznačajnijih trendova digitalnih inovacija još od kreiranja interneta – revolucionarna tehnologija 2008. godine ugledala je svjetlo dana predstavljanjem Bitcoina, no neovisno o samim počecima, blockchain je glavna tema današnjice i na nama je da samo pratimo kako napredak tako i sve širu upotrebu tehnologije. Tema ovog rada je blockchain koji predstavlja disruptivnu tehnologiju te njegove primjene, kojih je danas sve više samim time kako se tehnologija uspješno integrira u brojne industrije. Prvi dio rada obuhvaća teoriju vezanu za samu tehnologiju blockchaina – od nastanka tehnologije, arhitekture, vrsta blockchaina, algoritama, a potom su predstavljene primjene tehnologije, kakve danas poznajemo.

Abstract (english)

From the first appearance of the Internet to today, we witnessed several changes caused by technology. We can truly say that technological trends have reflected significantly on us and if we look back some time ago, we see how much the change of any process has significantly but positively affected. Blockchain is one of the most significant trends in digital innovation since the creation of the Internet - revolutionary technology in 2008 saw the light of day with the introduction of Bitcoin, but regardless of its beginnings, blockchain is the main topic today and it is up to us to monitor progress and increasing use of technology. The theme of this paper is the blockchain, which represents disruptive technology and its applications, which are becoming more and more common today as technology is successfully merged into many industries. The first part of the paper includes a theory related to blockchain technology itself - from the origin of technology, architecture, types of blockchains and algorithms, and then presents applications of technology as we know it today.
