Abstract

Analiza financijskih izvještaja alat je pomoću kojeg se razumiju financijski izvještaji i donose zaključci o njima. Ovaj diplomski rad podijeljen je na 3 glavna poglavlja. Prvo se poglavlje sastoji od teorijskog okvira financijskih izvještaja, instrumenata i postupaka analize financijskih izvještaja te specifičnosti financijskih izvještaja revizorskih društava. U drugom se poglavlju provodi vertikalna i horizontalna analiza bilanci i računa dobiti i gubitka odabranih poduzeća za odabrane godine. Horizontalnom analizom uočavaju se promjene određenih pozicija u financijskim izvještajima kroz godine, a vertikalnom analizom udio pojedinih pozicija u ukupnoj aktivi, odnosno ukupnim prihodima ako je riječ o računu o dobiti i gubitka. Treći dio rada obuhvaća analize pokazatelja uspješnosti i sigurnosti poslovanja te Du Pont sustav pokazatelja. Pokazatelji likvidnosti i zaduženosti spadaju pod pokazatelje sigurnosti, stoga su oni izračunati i analizirani za promatrane godine u oba poduzeća. Pod pokazatelje uspješnosti spadaju pokazatelji aktivnosti, ekonomičnosti i profitabilnosti. Du Pont sustav pokazatelja deduktivni je sustav pokazatelja koji pokazuje što sve utječe na dva vrlo bitna financijska pokazatelja ROA i ROE, kao i kako promjene pokazatelja na nižim razinama utječu na vršne pokazatelje ovog sustava pokazatelja.

Abstract (english)

Financial statement analysis is a tool by which we understand financial statements and draw conclusions about them. This thesis is divided into 3 main chapters. The first chapter consists of the theoretical framework of financial statements, instruments and procedures of analysis of financial statements and the specifics of financial statements of audit firms. In the second chapter, a vertical and horizontal analysis of the balance sheets and profit and loss accounts of selected companies for selected years is performed. Horizontal analysis shows changes in certain positions in the financial statements over the years and vertical analysis the share of individual positions in total assets, or total income if it is a profit and loss account. The third part of the paper includes analyzes of business performance and safety indicators and the Du Pont system of indicators. Liquidity and indebtedness indicators fall under safety indicators, so they are calculated and analyzed for the observed years in both companies. Performance indicators include indicators of activity, economy and profitability. The Du Pont system of indicators is a deductive system of indicators that shows what affects the two very important financial indicators ROA and ROE, as well as how changes in indicators at lower levels affect the top indicators of this system of indicators.
