Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu obrađuje se tematika globalnog okvira održivog razvoja, odnosno njegove perspektive i mogućnosti. Koncept održivog razvoja inicijalno je opisan u izvješću Bruntlandove komisije iz 1987. godine kao razvoj koji zadovoljava potrebe sadašnjosti bez ugrožavanja sposobnosti budućih generacija da zadovolje svoje vlastite potrebe. Nadalje, kroz rad je obrađena problematika strateških okvira i trendova održivog razvoja. Održivi razvoj se implementira kroz usvojene satrategije na razini Europske unije, a Republika Hrvatska ih također implementira prema zadanim direktivama. U radu su, također, obrađene nove perspektive i modeli održivog razvoja na razini Europske unije, gdje se i te promjene i trendovi konstantno prate. Na kraju diplomskog rada analizirani su ispunjeni ciljevi održivog razvoja.

Abstract (english)

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of the global framework of sustainable development, namely with its perspectives and possibilities. The concept of sustainable development is described in a 1987 rport by the Bruntland Commission as a development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Furthermore, the paper deals with the issues of strategic frameworks and trends of sustainable development. Sustainable development is implemented through the strategies adopted at the level of the European Union, and the Republic of Croatia also implements them according to the given directives. The paper also discusses new perspectives and models of sustainable development at the level of the European Union, where these changes and trends are monitored permanently. At the end of the thesis, the fulfilled goals of sustainable development were analyzed.
