Abstract

Pojam zemlje u razvoju obuhvaća gospodarstva između razine razvijenog i nerazvijenog čija tržišta kapitala nemaju visok stupanj razvoja, već se umjesto vrijednosnih papira trguje robom. Robne burze podrazumijevaju kupovinu i prodaju plemenitih metala, nafte te poljoprivrednih proizvoda. Riječ je o prirodnim bogatstvima koji mogu doprinijeti gospodarskom razvoju pa se zato stručni doprinos rada ogleda kroz uvid u značajnost robnih burzi za zemlje u razvoju. Među robama najznačajnija je nafta bez čijih derivata ne bi funkcionirali kompletni svjetski transport i distribucija, a osim toga ,pored zlata, njome se najviše trguje na terminskom tržištu. Sukladno tome rad uspoređuje važnost nafte za nacionalna gospodarstva sa zemljama u razvoju koje nisu bogate naftom poput afričkih zemalja i regije Latinske Amerike. Drugim riječima, stručni doprinos rada je uvid koliko nafta i robna terminska tržišta mogu doprinijeti gospodarskom rastu analizirajući navedena područja dostupnim sekundarnim izvorima podataka. Kao prilog koriste se stručne i znanstvene literature poput knjiga, članaka, studija te izvješća relevantnih organizacija. Rad se sastoji od pet poglavlja: uvod, teorijski okvir poslovanja na robnim burzama, nafta kao predmet trgovanja na robnim burzama, tržište nafte u zemljama u razvoju te zaključak.

Abstract (english)

The term developing countries covers economies between levels of developed and non-developed whose capital markets don´t have stage of growth, and instead of valuable papers it is traded with commodities. Commodity exchange takes in concern buying and selling precious metals, oil and agricultural products. It is about natural wealth that can contribute to economic growth, and so professional contribution of the thesis looks at insight on the significance of the commodity exchanges for developing economies. Among commodities the most significant is oil without whose derivatives all of global transport and distribution could not function. As well, next to gold, it is mostly traded at the futures market. In accordance with it, the thesis compares the oil´s importance for national economies with developing countries, like African and Latin-American, that don´t posses the oil in great quantity. In other words, the professional contribution of the thesis is an insight into how much the oil and commodity futures markets can contribute to economic growth by analyzing the mentioned areas with available secondary data sources. Professional and scientific literature such as
books, articles, studies and reports of relevant organizations are used as support. The work consists of five chapters: introduction, theoretical framework of business on commodity exchanges, oil as an object of trading on commodity exchanges, oil market in developing countries and conclusion.
