Abstract

Mirovinski sustav važan je dio socijalne sigurnosti i njime se osiguravaju novčana sredstva umirovljenicima. Predmet ovog rada je mirovinski sustav s naglaskom na mirovinske fondove. Mirovinski fondovi se dijele na obvezne i dobrovoljne i ulažu novac od svoji članova kako bi im ostvarili prinos. Dobrovoljni mirovinski fondovi su osobni izbor svakog pojedinca da u njih ulaže novčana sredstva i tako se dodatno osigura za mirovinu. Zbog sve veće problematike mirovinskog sustava da osigura dostatne mirovine umirovljenicama, te zbog sve većeg povećanja korisnika mirovina na broj osiguranika, sve je veći teret na pojedincu da si samostalno osigura veću mirovinu. Stoga se u budućnosti očekuju sve veći razvitak dobrovoljnih mirovinskih fondova. U ovom radu analizirati će se percepcija mladih o ulaganju u dobrovolje mirovinske fondove. Analiza će se provesti putem intervju-a. Cilj je prikazati benefite takvih ulaganja i pokazati koliku važnost ima mirovinski sustav u ukupnoj socijalnoj sigurnosti. Također naglasiti će se činjenica da si svaki osiguranik sa vrlo ranim ulaganje u ovakve fondove može osigurati bolji životni standard kada se umirovi. Putem intervju-a ispitati će se mlađa populacija u rasponu od 18 do 25 godina, te njihovo općenito znanje o mirovinskom sustavu, ali i njihovo razmišljanje o budućnoj mirovini te detaljnije o njihovoj štednji. Također analizirat će se njihovo ulaganja u dobrovoljne mirovinske fondove i poznavanja njihovih pogodnosti. Rezultati ispitivanja pokazali su kako mladi nisu previše upoznati s radom mirovinskog sustava, te kako zbog neinformiranosti, nepovjerenja i nedovoljno financija ne ulažu u dobrovoljne mirovinske fondove. Također većina nije bila upoznata s benefitima takvih ulaganja.

Abstract (english)

The pension system is an important part of social security, and it provides funds to people that are going in the retirement.. The subject of this paper is the pension system with an emphasis on pension funds. Pension funds are divided into mandatory and voluntary and invest money from their members in order to generate a return Voluntary pension funds are the personal choice of each individual to invest in them and provide additional insurance. Due to problem of pension system in providing sufficient pensions for pensioners and due to increasing number of pension beneficiaries, the burden is on the individual to independently secure a larger pension. Therefore, an increasing development of voluntary pension funds is expected in the future. This paper will analyse the perception of young people about investing in voluntary pension funds. The analysis will be conducted through interviews. The goal is to show the benefits of such investments and show how important the pension system is in overall social security. It will also emphasize the fact that every insured person can ensure himself a better standard of living when he retires by investing in such funds very early. Through interviews, the younger population in the age range of 18 to 25 will be examined and their general knowledge of the pension system, as well as their thinking about future pensions and their savings in more detail. Their investments in voluntary pension funds and knowledge of their benefits will also be analysed. The results of the survey showed that young people are not too familiar with the work of the pension system and that they do not invest in voluntary pension funds due to lack of information, mistrust and insufficient finances. Also, most were not familiar with the benefits of such investments.
