Abstract

Turizam je jedna od najprofitabilnijih grana koja utječe na ekonomski razvoj destinacije.
U predpademijsko vrijeme uzrokovano širenjem korona virusom, prihod od turizma je, u
ukupnoj strukturi bruto domaćeg proizvoda, iznosio gotovo pa 20 posto. Najveći dio
prihoda ostvaruje se u ljetnim mjesecima i to ja Jadranskoj obali. S obzirom da su turisti
sve zahtjevniji, za uspješan turizam odavno je prestalo biti dovoljno pružiti samo
određeni smještaj. Turističku ponudu je nužno kontinuirano usavršavati. Festivali i
događaji predstavljaju programe zabavnog karaktera koji su nužni kako bi se upotpunila
turistička ponuda te privukli željenu skupinu turista. Oni mogu koristiti u promjeni
imidža destinaciju kroz kvalitetnu organizaciju istog. U kreiranje turističkih ponuda
nužno je uvrstiti manifestacije koje se održavaju tijekom cijele godine. Prije
organiziranja manifestacije potrebno je napraviti analizu o pozitivnim i negativnim
učincima iste, ali i razmisliti o ciljanoj skupini potrošača.

Abstract (english)

Tourism is one of the most profitable branches that affects the economic development of the
destination. In the period before the epidemic caused by the spread of the corona virus,
tourism accounted for almost 20 percent of the overall structure of the gross domestic product.
The largest part of the income is realized in the summer months and on the Adriatic coast.
Given that tourists are increasingly demanding, it is no longer enough to provide only certain
accommodation for successful tourism. It is necessary to continuously improve the tourist
offer. Festivals and manifestations represent entertainment programs that are necessary to
complete the tourist offer and attract the desired group of tourists. They can be used to change
the image of the destination through its quality organization. When creating a tourist offer, it
is necessary to include events that take place throughout the year. Before organizing an event,
it is necessary to analyze its positive and negative effects, but also to think about the target
group of consumers.
