Abstract

Medika d.d. jedno je od vodećih poduzeća u industriji trgovine na veliko farmaceutskim proizvodima. Cilj ovog rada je ocijeniti uspješnost poslovanja poduzeća Medika d.d. kroz razdoblje od 2017. do 2021. godine. Navedena ocjena donesena je na temelju rezultata provedene analize vanjskog okruženja i analize financijske situacije poduzeća. Poslovna analiza je vrlo važna sastavnica kontinuiranog rasta i strategije poduzeća. Analizom poslovanja, onoga što poduzeće dobro čini i što bi moglo poboljšati, menadžment se poduzeća orijentira na uspješnost budućeg poslovanja. Poslovna analiza provodi se analizom unutarnjih i vanjskih čimbenika poduzeća. Vanjsku analizu čine PESTLE analiza, kojom se mjeri utjecaj političkih, ekonomskih, socijalnih, tehnoloških, pravnih i ekoloških faktora šireg okruženja na poslovanje organizacije, zatim Porterov model pet sila, kojim se identificiraju i analiziraju pet konkurentskih sila koje oblikuju industriju, te SWOT analiza, kojom se objašnjavaju snage, slabosti, prilike i prijetnje poduzeća. Unutarnja analiza provodi se horizontalnom i vertikalnom analizom bilance i računa dobiti i gubitka te analizom pomoću financijskih pokazatelja.

Abstract (english)

Medika d.d. is one of the leading companies in the pharmaceutical wholesale industry. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the performance of the company Medika d.d. through the period from 2017. to 2021. The assessment was based on the results of external environment analysis and analysis of the company's financial situation. Business analysis is a very important component of continuous growth and company strategy. By analyzing how the business is run, what the company does well and what could be improved, the management of the company focuses on the success of future business. Business analysis is carried out by analyzing the internal and external factors of the company. The external analysis consists of PESTLE analysis, which measures the impact of political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental factors of the wider environment on the organization's operations, Porter's five forces model, which identifies and analyzes five competitive forces that shape the industry, and SWOT analysis, which explains company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Internal analysis is conducted by horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss account and by analyzing the key financial ratios.
