Abstract

S obzirom na snažan porast količine i snage napredne moderne tehnologije u 20. i 21. stoljeću,
poslovni svijet bilježi znatnu promjenu u procesima koji se u njemu provode. Poslovni proces
je skup aktivnosti koje služe kako bi se izvršio neki cilj. Sukladno tome, kvalitetan način
dobivanja uvida u promjene koje je rast tehnologije uzrokovao u poslovnom svijetu je
dijagramski prikaz trenutnih ili zastarjelih te reinženjeringa poslovnih procesa. Reinženjering
se vrši na način da se moderna tehnologija implementira u trenutni proces što rezultira
nestankom određenih aktivnosti, ali i potprocesa. Rezultat toga novi je proces koji se izvodi
brže i efikasnije. Sukladno tome, cilj ovoga rada je prikazati utjecaj tehnologije na moderni
svijet na način da se prikažu trenutni (AS-IS) modeli primarnog poslovnog procesa upravljanja
lancem opskrbe te potpornog poslovnog procesa nabave. Zatim, prikazan je potencijalni (TO-BE) model spomenuta dva procesa, odnosno AS-IS model nad kojim je izvršen reinženjering.
Uvid u modele je dobiven preko znanstvene literature i uputa koji su autoru bili na
raspolaganju, a s ciljem izrade općenitih AS-IS modela, odnosno AS-IS modela koji nisu
specifični za konkretno poduzeće/organizaciju. Reinženjeringom primarnog i potpornog
poslovnog procesa prikazan je utjecaj kao i potencijal moderne tehnologije u poslovnom
svijetu.

Abstract (english)

Given the strong increase in the amount and computing power of advanced modern
technology in the 20th and 21st centuries, the business world is witnessing a significant
change in the processes carried out within it. A business process is a set of activities that serve
to accomplish a goal. Accordingly, a high-quality way of gaining insight into the changes that
the growth of technology has caused in the business world is a diagrammatic representation
of current or outdated and reengineered business processes. Reengineering is done in such a
way that modern technology is implemented in the current process, which results in the
disappearance of certain activities, as well as sub-processes. The result is a new process that
runs faster and more efficiently. Accordingly, the goal of this paper is to show the impact of
technology on the modern world in a way that shows the current (AS-IS) models of the primary
business process of supply chain management and the supporting business process of
procurement. Then, the potential (TO-BE) model of the mentioned two processes, i.e. the AS-IS model on which reengineering was performed, is presented. An insight into the models was
obtained through scientific literature and instructions that were available to the author, with
the aim of creating general AS-IS models, that is, AS-IS models that are not
company/organization specific. The impact and potential of modern technology in the
business world has been demonstrated by reengineering the primary and supporting business
processes.
