Abstract

Predmet ovog rada je utjecaj Brexita na vanjsku trgovinu UK i EU. U radu se je analizirao sam nastanak Brexita i njegov utjecaj na trgovinu Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva. U radu je prikazana važnost Europske Unije i Ujedinjenog kraljevstva u svjetskoj trgovinskoj razmjeni, analizirao se je sam nastanak Brexita i njegov utjecaj na trgovinu Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva, te se je poseban naglasak stavio na analizu kako je Brexit utjecao na međunarodnu trgovinu Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva i Europske unije, te koje su glavne posljedice Brexita na međunarodnu trgovinu EU i Ujedinjeno kraljevstvo.
U radu je prikazan pad sveukupnog obujam trgovine u UK-u, iako s nekim iznenađujućim strukturnim učincima, pri čemu se je britanski uvoz roba iz EU smanjio se više od britanskog izvoza u EU.
U radu je zaključeno da je Brexit imao direktne negativne utjecaje na trgovinsku razmjenu između EU i Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva, ali i na neizravne učinke koji se mogu očekivati od Brexita, kao što su endogene promjene u troškovima faktora i inputa.

Abstract (english)

The subject of this paper is the impact of Brexit on UK and EU foreign trade. The paper analyzed the very origin of Brexit and its impact on the trade of the United Kingdom. The paper shows the importance of the European Union and the United Kingdom in world trade, analyzed the very origin of Brexit and its impact on the trade of the United Kingdom, and a special emphasis was placed on the analysis of how Brexit affected the international trade of the United Kingdom and the European Union. and what are the main consequences of Brexit on the international trade of the EU and the United Kingdom.
The paper shows a decline in the overall volume of trade in the UK, albeit with some surprising structural effects, with UK imports of goods from the EU falling more than UK exports to the EU.
The paper concluded that Brexit had direct negative impacts on trade between the EU and the United Kingdom, but also on indirect effects that can be expected from Brexit, such as endogenous changes in the costs of factors and inputs.
