Abstract

Trgovina se kroz povijest pokazala jednom od najvažnijih grana u gospodarstvu unutar koje se promjene odvijaju znatno brže u odnosu na ostale sektore. Upravo zbog prethodno navedenog, primjena društveno odgovornog poslovanja u području trgovine ima važan utjecaj na ostale segmente društva i gospodarstva. U najširem smislu, društveno odgovorno poslovanje označava sve aktivnosti povezane sa utjecajem na društvo i okoliš, a posljednjih nekoliko godina posebno raste svijest ljudi o važnosti društveno odgovornog poslovanja. Brojne aktivnosti poput nastajanja novih tehnologija i načina poslovanja, sve većeg zagađenja okoliša, razvijanja globalizacije te dugotrajne svjetske krize potaknula su poduzeća na promjenu poslovne prakse te primjenu novog sustava koji podrazumijeva spajanje dobrobiti zajednice sa poslovnom praksom. U radu se analiziraju prepreke i prednosti koje društveno odgovorno poslovanje omogućuje. Prikazuje se perspektiva razvoja društveno odgovornog poslovanja. U nastavku rada su prikazani brojni načini primjene koncepta društveno odgovornog poslovanja. Definirane su dimenzije i mjere društveno odgovornog poslovanja kao i zakonodavni okviri koji djeluju na teritoriju Republike Hrvatske te su prikazani mehanizmi koji potiču primjenu društveno odgovornog poslovanja. Osim teorijskog pristupa, cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je dobiti dublje uvide u stavove studentske populacije o društveno odgovornom poslovanju, razumijevanju koncepta društveno odgovornog poslovanja te o upoznatošću s pojmom društveno odgovornog poduzetništva te prednostima i preprekama njegovog razvoja. Također, bilo je potrebno istražiti njihovo razumijevanje navedenog koncepta.

Abstract (english)

Throughout history, trade has proven to be one of the most important branches of the economy, within which changes take place much faster than other sectors. Precisely because of the above, the application of socially responsible business in the field of trade has an important impact on other segments of society and the economy. In the broadest sense, socially responsible business refers to all activities related to the impact on society and the environment, and in the last few years people's awareness of the importance of socially responsible business has been growing. Numerous activities such as the emergence of new technologies and ways of doing business, increasing environmental pollution, the development of globalization and the long-term world crisis have encouraged companies to change their business practices and apply a new system that involves combining the welfare of the community with business practices. The paper analyzes the obstacles and advantages made possible by socially responsible business. The perspective of the development of socially responsible business is presented. The following paper presents numerous ways of applying the concept of socially responsible business. The dimensions and measures of socially responsible business are defined, as are the legislative frameworks that operate on the territory of the Republic of Croatia, and the mechanisms that encourage the application of socially responsible business are presented. In addition to the theoretical approach, the goal of this master thesis was to gain deeper insights into the attitudes of the student population about socially responsible business, understanding the concept of socially responsible business, and familiarity with the concept of socially responsible entrepreneurship and the advantages and obstacles of its development. Also, it was necessary to investigate their understanding of the concept.
