Abstract

Razvoj tehnologije donosi brojne dobrobiti za poslovanje, ali i za sve segmente čovjekovog života, no redovito donosi i pitanja koja se odnose na etičnost, sigurnost i privatnost pri svojem korištenju. Jedna od najnovijih tehnologija je Internet stvari koju čini mreža fizičkih objekata kojima se pristupa putem interneta. Radi se o obliku tehnologije koji uključuje uređaje koji putem interneta prikupljaju i dijele podatke. Temeljni princip rada Internet stvari je tehnologija koja podrazumijeva ugrađene senzore koji iz okoline prikupljaju odabrane informacije te ih šalju na daljnju obradu, a značajno je da ova tehnologija omogućuje uređajima međusobnu komunikaciju bez posredstva čovjeka. Svrha ovoga rada je istražiti utjecaj novih tehnologija Internet stvari u poslovnom okruženju. Budući da je očekivan eksponencijalni rast i razvoj tehnologija Interneta stvari čiji će uređaji postati dio svakodnevice u suvremenom društvu, u radu se istražuje izaziva li korištenje takve tehnologije zabrinutost u poslovnom okruženju.
Glavni cilj ovoga rada je istražiti utjecaj tehnologija Internet stvari na poslovno okruženje. Napravljena je analiza percepcije zaposlenika o primjeni Internet stvari u njihovom poslovnom okruženju. Ispitano je i njihovo stajalište o etičkim i sigurnosnim pitanjima tehnologije Internet stvari, a za tu je svrhu proveden anonimni anketni upitnik. Istraživanje je pokazalo da ispitanici smatraju da trebaju imati kontrolu i znati koji se osobni podaci prikupljaju, da za to trebaju dati prethodni pristanak te da bi trebali biti pravovremeno i u potpunosti informirani o prikupljaju podataka. Velik postotak ispitanika zabrinut je zbog mogućnosti krađe identiteta ili prijevare te pokazuje zabrinutost u sigurnost osobnih podataka što znači da se ispitanici ne pouzdaju u sigurnosne sustave koji štite osobne podatke od potencijalnih napada. Ispitanici se boje da im praćenje pomoću Internet stvari uređaja može uskratiti prava koja su im zajamčena zakonima. Stoga se zaključuje da tehnologija Internet stvari izaziva brojna pitanja vezana uz etičnost korištenja, sigurnost i očuvanje privatnosti.

Abstract (english)

The development of technology brings a lot of benefits for the business, and also for all segments of a person's life, but it also frequently raises questions related to ethics, safety and privacy when it is used. One of the newest technologies is the Internet of things which comprises a network of physical objects that are accessed via the Internet. It is a type of technology that includes devices that collect and share data via the Internet. The basic principle of the work of the Internet of things is a technology that implies built-in sensors that collect the chosen data from the surroundings and send them to be further processed, and what is significant is that this technology enables the devices to communicate among themselves without the help of a person. The purpose of this work was to examine the influence of new Internet of things technologies on the business environment. Since it is expected that there will be exponential growth and development of IoT technologies, whose devices will become a part of everyday life in contemporary society, this work has examined if the usage of this technology provokes concern in the business environment.
The main goal of this paper was to explore the influence of the Internet of things technologies on the business environment, and then to analyze the perception of the employees on using the Internet of things in their business environment as well as their stand on the questions of ethics and safety in the Internet of things technology, for which an anonymous questionnaire was conducted. The research has shown that the examinees think that they should have control and know what personal data is collected, that they should give prior consent for that and that they should be fully and in time informed about the collection of data. A high percentage of the examinees are concerned about the possibility of identity theft or fraud and they show concern about the safety of personal data which means that the examinees do not rely on the safety systems that protect the personal data from potential attacks. The examinees are afraid that tracking with the help of IoT devices can deny them the rights that are guaranteed by law. That is why it is concluded that the Internet of things technology brings up a lot of questions related to usage ethics, safety and preserving privacy.
