Abstract

Predmet ovog diplomskog rada odnosi se na koncept poslovne inteligencije i mobilne poslovne inteligencije te njihove primjene u poslovanju, s posebnim fokusom na mala i srednja poduzeća. Cilj rada je objasniti koncept (mobilne) poslovne inteligencije, njezin razvoj, zatim važnost, kao i važnost implementacije iste i posljedice koje njezina primjena može imati, i najčešće, ima za poslovanje, s naglaskom na mala i srednja poduzeća. U ovom radu koristili su se primarni i sekundarni izvori podataka. Primarni izvori se odnose na istraživanje putem fokus skupine u kojem će ispitanici biti anketirani o temi poslovne inteligencije, dok se sekundarni izvori odnose na knjige, članke te Internet izvore iz kojih će se prikupiti svi potrebni podatci za teorijski dio rada. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju da je poslovna inteligencija neizostavan dio današnjeg poslovanja te da budućnost bilo koje tvrtke koja želi konkurirati na međunarodnom tržištu ovisi o tome koliko se efikasno primjenjuju metode i prednosti poslovne inteligencije.

Abstract (english)

The subject of this thesis is focused on the concept of business intelligence and mobile business intelligence and their application in business, with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. The aim of this thesis is to explain the concept of (mobile) business intelligence, its development, the importance, as well as the importance of its implementation and the consequences that its application may have, and most often, has for business. Primary and secondary data sources have been used for the research. Primary sources refer to the research through a focus group in which respondents have been surveyed on the topic of business intelligence, while secondary sources refer to books, articles and Internet sources from which all necessary data for the theoretical part of the paper have been collected. The results of the research indicate that business intelligence is an indispensable part of today's business and that the future of any company that wants to compete in the international market depends on how effectively the methods and benefits of business intelligence are applied.
