Sažetak

This thesis analyzes the tax systems of Croatia and Germany, focusing on the effectiveness of environmental taxes. The aim is to compare the systems, explore the historical development of taxes, and analyze their economic impacts. Secondary sources such as professional literature and laws were used. Methods include description and data analysis. The thesis covers the history of tax systems, an overview of taxes in Croatia, and a comparison with Germany, highlighting their similarities and differences.
