Sažetak

Transport sector is one of the key drivers for global economies and businesses. Logistics are heavily depended on transport which was a hidden drawback until the pandemic started. During the pandemic many businesses had to stop their operations due to not being able to send their employees to work. Therefore, many supply chains have suffered enormous losses. One of the solutions to resolve this kind of situations in the future could be the implementation of autonomous vehicles. Not just for that reason, but for many other benefits as well. This paper discusses significant impact that autonomous vehicles could have on the future of supply chains and deeply analyzes related factors that could also affect the industry. The results have shown positive impacts in the future, however further questions arise regarding the reality check in other words what is the possibility that autonomous vehicles could operate in real world. The paper concludes with results and explains future potential work.
